Episode 03: Healing from a diagnosis - it's not the end, it's the beginning

In this episode I talk with a friend of mine about mental illness, diagnosis and how this can be both a positive and negative thing for people. The medical model of mental health currently dominates the discussion in our society and so diagnoses are common and sometimes over-used, but they are also useful to people in understanding themselves and what they need. In this episode we talk about our personal experiences of this and also from my perspective as a therapist.
